"Selfishness must always be forgiven you know, because there is no hope for a cure" - Jane Austen
Greetings and Salutations! Founded in 2007 by Seattle local, Nichelle, The Jane Austen Book Club of Greater Seattle is a once a month book club focusing on everything and anything Jane Austen. From reading her six classic novels and her lesser known juvenilia, to spin-offs or continuations and biographies, we continue to find new and interesting ways to keep this wonderful author entertaining and insightful.
As a group, we vary in age, location and profession bringing different ideas and thoughts to the table. From Gig Harbor to Issaquah, we find ways to meet and discuss passages and situations that we're passionate about, perplexed about, or just plain frustrated with! We laugh, we debate, we defend, we agree, and we have a wonderful time.
Please feel free to contact Nichelle for more information at janeaustenbookclub at hotmail dot com and search the rest of the website for news and information. Check out our calendar for the next event!
